Please note that I have a new blog, Literary Guanajuato, for readers and writers in Guanajuato and for others interested in Guanajuato and its surroundings. The new blog is connected to my author’s website (dianneromain.com), where you can learn about my novel Catch Me if I Fall.
I may eventually phase out Writing in Fits. I’ll let you know. But for now it’s alive and well. I’ve updated some of the pages, and here’s a new post!
For a sunset view of the Teatro Juarez, try rooftop dining at La Erre. The restaurant is named for family members whose names begin with the letter r (La Erre). La Erre is just a few steps up Calle Sopeña from the Jardín de la Unión. They have a full bar and good food. For a light meal, try their shrimp tacos. If you’re not in the mood for stairs, you can dine at street level.
We often stop by La Erre after the Lindy Hop class we give at Casa Cuatro 6 PM Wednesday evenings when we’re in town. Check out Guanajuato Swing for information about the classes.
Here we are at Maz+ahua Gallery, Casa Cuatro, with our former teacher Lauren Fosnight (centre front) and other students.
